On Saturday 1st April 2017, Broadway’s Junior league squad attended the season opening event at Halesowen Leisure centre.
The Junior league squad worked really well together to achieve a close 3rd place against much bigger teams.

Parking is available, but as with all Junior events tends to fill up quickly, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Elodie Rollins had a successful weekend at the Wycombe Long Course Open meet.
Attending her first Long Course meet, Elodie won Gold in both the 100m Front Crawl and 100m Backstroke, while also getting a Silver in the 50m Breaststroke.
Well done Elodie.

This years Wyre Forest County Qualifier proved a big hit with our swimmers.
Broadway swimmers achieved a large number of PB’s and medals, and had lots of fun aswell.
On Saturday ParaOlypmic Gold Medalist Sascha Kindred OBE came to the gala and sat and talked with our swimmers, signing T Shirts and posing for selfies.
On Sunday the entire gala took part in a mannequin challenge, where everyone in the swimming pool area stayed still, whilst being filmed.
